Who We Are (And Why We’re Funny & Smart Enough to Help You)
MicDrop Marketing is built by comedians, for comedians—so we get it. You don’t want boring lectures, painful homework, and stupid technical jargon. Our lessons are simple, actionable, and actually work without sucking the fun out of your creative process. We’ve paid our dues (bombed, hustled, fumbled) in our respective industries, and while to some we may not always look like we know what we are doing – we actually DO.

our story
From Bombing Sets to Booming Follows
As a digital marketer, I’ve seen everyone struggle with social media—but entertainers? They’ve got it rough. Between perfecting their craft and just trying to get out of bed some days, posting online can feel like a big black hole. Christie, used to say social media was the bane of her existence. She’d rather pretend it didn’t exist at all. She needed a better system, and honestly, I needed a clever way to talk her into more mentoring time because I wasn’t yet killing it on stage, more like a light bruising. So, we put our heads together and realized we could create something cool: a system to help up-and-coming or established comedians thrive and grow their visibility.
And really, isn’t that the best kind of gig?
meet The Team
Christie Buchele
Christie Buchele is a stand-up comic who’s made a name for herself by sharing the brutally honest (and hilariously awkward) realities of being a woman with a disability.
She’s been featured on Viceland’s Flophouse, Hidden America with Jonah Ray, Laughs on Fox, and First Look on NBC, and has performed at big-name festivals like Limestone, High Plains, and 208 in Boise. As the Director of Stand-Up at Rise Comedy Theater, she helps young comics hit the stage with confidence—even if their moms also describe their material as “uncomfortable.”
Christie’s opened for legends like Josh Blue, Marc Maron, and David Cross, co-hosted the award-winning podcast Empty Girlfriend, and crushed it as part of the Denver comedy trio, The Pussy Bros. Her comedy style? Wry, biting, a little sweet, a little surly—and proof you can say almost anything with a smile on your face and a gimp in your step.
